Kinetic Games has been showing us the transformation it plans for the classic Bleasdale Map in Phasmophobia, which has been available in the ghost-hunting simulator since it launched in 2020.
While the old layout was a bit run-down and shabby, now it feels grandeur and inviting. It’s perhaps a tad too big for solo play, but it will come into its element online with other players, as the game is meant to be played.
When will Phasmophobia’s Bleasdale Map update be released?
Bleasdale Farmhouse is receiving a complete overhaul that will arrive in-game across all platforms on March 10th. This means it will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
“With two floors, 21 rooms, and a spacious attic, Bleasdale is an ideal location for budding ghost hunters to settle in for a potentially horrifying evening.” reads an overview sent to us by Kinetic Games.
“The rework features a variety of major alterations throughout the home, with a new layout, new areas, and a total visual overhaul.”
The map is much larger than the original one we’re all used to and contains a garden area with new areas for ghosts to haunt.
“We’re so excited for players to jump into the huge Bleasdale Farmhouse redesign next week,” said Daniel Knight (Dknighter), Director of Kinetic Games and Lead Developer of Phasmophobia. “The map has always been a favourite of ours, and the rework has let the team give Bleasdale a more unique identity amongst some of the other similar maps in Phasmophobia. It adds some exciting new areas and visuals that are designed to really play on ghost hunters’ senses, and we hope that everyone enjoys exploring the haunted new areas the Farmhouse offers.”
