Sega has announced that as part of their Make War Not Love 3 promotion, the new Slavic Nations Culture Pack downloadable content pack for Total War: Attila will be given away for free on the 25th February.
For those who are unaware, Make War Not Love is an annual Relic vs Creative Assembly community event that starts on Valentine’s Day and ends on the 20th February. In that event, Total War: Attila will be competing against both Company of Heroes 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. Gamers can follow the action on the official page here.
As for the DLC itself, the Slavic Nations include those hardy souls who live on the blasted Steppes, looking to recolonize the area. ”When conflict occurs, they release withering hails of poison arrows on their foes. Whether through diplomacy or conflict, they offer the perfect counter to the Hunnic threat, and introduce a number of unique ways to play Total War: ATTILA in both Campaign and Battle”. The DLC includes the Anteans, Sclavenians and Venedians, who may be used in Single or Multiplayer Campaign modes and Custom and Multiplayer battles.
Creative Assembly also released a new trailer to show off the DLC.
