Slitherine and Byzantine Games are working on a new turn-based grand strategy title called Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun, which is set in the Sengoku period of Japanese history.
Developed by Field of Glory and Pike & Shot creator Richard Bodley Scott, in collaboration with Jayson Ng, an member of the community, the plan is to develop a game that authentically captures the feel of Japanese combat during that period of time. The interface will be easy to use, but the gameplay will be hard to master.
