Urban Games and Gambitious Entertainment have revealed Transport Fever, an economic transport simulator that allows you to build networks of transit and shipping in an inter-city infrastructure using over 120 trains, aircraft, ships, buses, trams, and trucks.
Transport Fever features a campaign mode with historically inspired missions set across Europe and North America. There’s also an endless mode, for those of you that just don’t want the simulation to end, which will be a great tool to test out any mods as Steam Workshop will be supported.
As you establish your transportation empire, you’ll be able to Construct stations, harbors, and airports, linking hubs of trade to meet the needs of evolving cities and shifting populations.
“All of this adds up to make Transport Fever the next generation of transport simulation games”, said the developer in a press release sent to GameWatcher. “and helps it to represent the next step forward in the genre that the beloved Transport Tycoon series breathed life into so many years ago.”
Transport Fever is in development for the PC and will be released this fall. Check out the debut trailer below:
