Independent developer and publisher, Digital Extremes, launched its biggest update for Warframe this year with The War Within update. The War Within update contains the highly-anticipated cinematic quest continuing last December’s The Second Dream and drives players to embark on a new journey featuring multiple new missions, planets, and story-driven cinematics.
Free to Play MMO Warframe has been a big hit on the Steam platform and the game boasts an active community of more than 26 million registered players. The new War Within update will also be coming to consoles in the following weeks/ The new update is the largest update of the year with plenty of content for players to get their teeth into.
The game has added plenty of content and feature additions include new Gameplay, Enemies, Weapons, Customizations, a new Mission Type and dozens of story secrets. The new weapons include the Twin Rogga – Dual pistols capable of assassinating targets from a distance as well as in combat and the Kesheg – A shimmering, ornate melee staff that is extremely dangerous up close.
Alongside new Warframe and companion customization options, one of the most exciting new additions is the new assault mission. In the new mission type, players engage in a multi-stage stealth and action mission where they breach an enemy base in an asteroid field to prevent an attack. The new content looks set to be welcomed by players and is available now.
