EA Access has been a thing on Xbox for a bit, but the Origin platform had been strangely left out of the loop on it. This changed today as EA chose to bring their subscription service over to Steam, allowing players to get in on some free games and exclusive content on EA titles.
Announced on the Origin website, Origin Access is a monthly fee service that promises players will be able to play select EA games before they’re released and try demos of many games, as well as access free, full EA games through a collection known as ‘The Vault’. There are only 15 games in the Vault now, but EA promises this catalogue will grow as time passes.
Here are a few of the titles that are available to Origin Access players in The Vault at this time:
-Battlefields 3, 4, and Hardline
-The entire Dragon Age series
-Need for Speed Rivals
-The entire Dead Space series
-Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
-This War of Mine
-SimCity (2015)
-The Sims 3
-Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
-FIFA 15
Players can get in on Origin Access in the UK, US, Canada, and Germany for the price of £3.99/€3.99/$4.99. For more information and sign-up details, you can check out the Origin Access page
