Cops! Robbers! Cops AND robbers! Battlefield Hardline wasn’t the hugest release in the series, but it seems to have been a solid conversion of the setting to the streets of thrillers like Heat. And the expansions just keep trucking along, with the latest due in March.
You’ve made the big heist in Hardline, but “now, there are enemies lurking in the frozen shadows, dark figures hiding behind crumbling mausoleums, and confrontations brewing in back alleys and federal prisons.” The full list of updates is detailed below. (Also, I’d like to point out that these guy are about to fight with freaking swords.)
- Four intricate maps: Alcatraz, Cemetery, Chinatown, and Thin Ice
- 7 new weapons
- 2 new vehicles
- Customize primary weapons and uniforms with the Gun Bench Super Feature, and test them at the Gun Range
- New Assignments and Legendary weapon camos
In addition to the Betrayal content, another update will launch alongside it that gives all users access to 11 new weapons and some new server presets. In addition, “after the update, every Gold Battlepack you open may also contain a weapon license voucher – a Distinguished class item that unlocks an entire weapon license.” Stability and usability improvements are also expected as a part of the update.
