For the majority of the year, Ubisoft’s UPlay platform and connected Ubisoft Club has been giving away a free game a month to celebrate the companies 30 year anniversary. This month it has been announced that the platform is giving away the cult classic Beyond Good and Evil. This comes hand in hand following the confirmation that a new Beyond Good and Evil game is in development by the company.
Previously Ubisoft have given away games such as the original Prince of Persia, The Crew and a Spinter Cell title. All players have to do to get the free game is to sign up for a uplay account and then the game be downloaded and kept for free. The promotion runs from month to month with a new game every month. So it’s the perfect opportunity for people who haven’t played the game to introduce themselves to the franchise.
Beyond Good & Evil is an action-adventure game that takes place in the year 2435 on the mining planet of Hillys, located in a remote section of the galaxy. Players take the role of Jade a young photojournalist caught up in a serious of events that set her on a path to changing the world around her.
