Frontier Developments announced that the PvP multiplayer mode of Elite: Dangerous, Arena, is now available as a separate title on Steam called, of course, Elite: Dangerous Arena. The standalone game will only cost a mere $7.49.
Arena will be compatible with the full game, so it ”will open Elite Dangerous to a whole new group of players, all of whom you can play against in the Close Quarter Combat Championships (CQC) in Arena mode in Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Horizons.”
The game, which supports Oculus Rift and TrackIR, has the following system requirements:
