Ninja Theory has unveiled the box art for its upcoming action title Hellblade, which revealed a new subtitle for the game; Senua’s Sacrifice. The official name update, according to the developer of DmC: Devil May Cry and Enslaved, is to reflect the protagonist’s fractured mental state.
Those who have checked out the developer diaries released by Ninja Theory know that Senua suffers what modern doctors would call post-traumatic stress disorder, having gone through personal loss and being forced to embark on a journey through a hellish underworld that manifests Senua’s psychotic visions and pain.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is expected to be released on PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2016.
