Chronicle: RuneScape Legends developers Jagex have announced that the first ever solo campaign titled ‘Trials of Radimus’ has been released today. The new content is free to all players and players will receive campaign exclusive rewards for their decks.
The free to play collectable card game set in the universe of popular MMORPG Runescape launched earlier this year to a positive response from both players and critics. “It’s been almost a year since we first opened the Hall of Legends, and in that time we’ve seen the PvP elements on the game develop immensely. However it’s time for a challenge of a different nature,” Said Jagex.
The new content will feature over 13 unique missions with over 39 challenges to complete. Jagex explains “Each Trial has 3 Stars to collect, the first of which will always be defeating your opponent. From there, things get more challenging, as to collect more stars players must meet specific victory conditions - For example stopping The Raptor surpassing 20 Armour!”
While this expansion is free to all players, Jagex did point out that not all future content will be free. The developers felt however that this one was a must for all players and wanted to start out the new content stream with good faith. The content also ships with new environments to play in which should please players becoming bored with the same old battlegrounds.
