Further proving that even the older Call of Duty titles still has a little bit of life in them yet, Activistion have added a few new things to Black Ops 3 with 'Update 18'.
Mentioned in a Tweet a few days ago, Unranked Servers were teased for the year old shooter that you'd usually expect would be long forgotten given the release of Infinite Warfare last month.
But it isn't just servers getting a few additions over the course of the surprise update - the recently added mod support received a few new tweaks too. Assets usually found in three of the game's standard modes - Campaign, Free Run and, of course, Zombies can now be used in crafting your own community mods.
What else arrived with the last Black Ops 3 update? Well... mod support was the big one.
So with the ability to host your own unranked server, there should no worries about the game ever shutting its doors once Activision decide to pull the plug on their own matchmaking support. But how do you pull it off? Without a little networking know-how, you might struggle. But there's a handy Steam Community forum post to help you out.
With so many shooters out this year fighting for your time, do you throw in the towel and opt to stick to what you know with Black Ops 3?
