Konami has announced that they have secured the licensing to the upcoming UEFA Euro 2016 football tournament event that will be commencing in June. They will be releasing it as a stand-alone game on the 24th March, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 fans will get it as an expansion for free on that date.
”Those purchasing the physical copy of the UEFA EURO 2016 title will also receive exclusive myClub rewards, including access to a special Ambassador Agent, seven special Euro agents giving them seven players representing the 24 qualified teams, and 10,000GP each week for 10 weeks,” promises the publisher.
The expansion will feature the 24 qualified teams, including 15 fully licensed teams with the latest strips for England, Wales, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Northern Ireland and host country French; naturally, there will be hundreds of real players recreated. In addition, the playing styles of all 24 teams will be replicated using the Player ID and Team ID game systems, which Konami promises will ”mimic the exact playing styles of both individual players and the team as a whole.”
UEFA Euro 2016 will include perks and bonuses for the meta-game myClub feature. Gamers purchasing a physical copy of the expansion will also receive exclusive myClub rewards. The rewards include access to a special Ambassador Agent, seven special Euro agents giving them seven players representing the 24 qualified teams, and 10,000 GP each week for 10 weeks.
UEFA Euro 2016 will be available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 24th March.
