Publisher Iceberg Interactive has released a major update today to the new 4x turn-based strategy title Oriental Empires, currently available on the Steam Early Access program. The 4X strategy recently received a positive preview from us, and there seems to be plenty of people enjoying it on Steam too.
This new update includes the addition of Chinese language to the game as well as various improvements. The game continues to receive regular updates trying to improve upon all aspects such as siege mechanics, battles, economy and play balancing.
For players trying to access the simplified Chinese version of the game, they must click their right mouse button on the game in their Steam list, select properties and click BETAS. From the drop down menu, select Chinese beta and the Chinese version will be downloaded automatically.
Due to recent community pressure, developers R.T. Smith and John Carline, known for their work on the original Total War titles, have moved ahead with certain roadmap goals at a faster pace than previously stated, including the anticipated multiplayer mode.
