Seemingly taking a leaf from the book of Hi-Rez Studios, Epic Games are taking on another project with Battle Breakers.
Quietly announced through a gameplay video on title's new-found YouTube Channel, the company is looking to join the mobile revolution with a strategy title that's set to launch alongside a PC version, too.
Much like how Hi-Rez is double-dipping with SMITE: Tactics on both PC and Mobile, Epic Games seem to be jumping on the proverbial bandwagon. Emails are already going out to those signed up to Epic's mailing list through their usual game accounts with the email in question prodding users to pre-register</b> to gain the 'Dark Beastman' hero character ready for the game's launch 'later this year'.
Paragon's Newest Hero 'Shinbi' Released February 21 - Already Has A Thread Calling For A Redesign
Running on Unreal Engine 4, Battle Breakers seems to be a strategy title with Gatcha elements similar to the recently released Fire Emblem Heroes. Allowing you to recruit anything from ninja and robots all the way to talking dinosaurs, you're tasked with crushing your opponents through the use of the elements of an individual stage and to "smash crystals to unlock hidden treasures".
Now juggling Paragon, Unreal Tournament and this, Epic Games are taking on the multi-title challenge. Neither its description nor video really explains the game itself, but it's coming.
