Launching toward to the end of the month on March 24, KOEI TECMO have begun to outline the online and offline modes of Toukiden 2.
Being a slayer game similar to God Hand and Monster Hunter, players can rightfully expect online multiplayer to make up the brunt of the Toukiden 2 experience.
Transporting players to the online hub through Portal Stones scattered throughout the game's 'Otherworld', missions then become available through the Command Hub allowing up to 4 players to team up against rampaging Oni. Much like other games of its kind, it's up to players to coordinate their attacks to shut down foes far bigger than themselves like the Drakwing, Canidaemon and Bruteclaw.

Mixing both online and offline modes in a way ever so slightly similar to the Dark Souls series, players may come across the dopplegangers of their friends across the offline campaign through the 'Join Operations' feature allowing carbon-copies of past allies to aid solo hunters with their efforts. Should you have some tired - but impressive - equipment now sitting unused and unloved in your storage boxes, it's possible to donate them to the worthy cause of 'Reliquaries' for other players to put to good use.
Releasing in just a few weeks, pre-order bonuses are revealed to include a Tenko Costume and a bunch of Mitama to aid players on their early hunts.
