Paradigm is a point and click adventure game by Jacob Janerka that’s set in the surreal and strange post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz.
Paradigm is about a mutant who’s been cooked up in the labs at DUPA genetics, a company who sells prodigy children to the rich and powerful who don’t want to leave their inheritance to their biological children.
The main protagonist Paradigm is a little bit different to the other mutants that come from DUPA genetics, as something went terrible wrong during Paradigm’s growing process, which has left him horribly mutated and as a result of this DUPA ditch the hideous infant at a nearby post Neo-Soviet abandoned town.
You can tell that Paradigm has a lot of clear influences, from Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, to TV series like the Mighty Boosh and Flight of the Concords. So if you’re looking for a modern point and click adventure that takes influences from classic titles, Paradigm might be the one for you when it releases later this afternoon on Steam for $14.99.
Thimbleweed is another point and click adventure game that’s been released recently, with our very own Chris Capel giving it high praise in our review. If you’re looking for more you can always check out our list of The Best Adventure Games on PC.
