With the unhealthy competition between Planet Coaster and Rollercoaster Tycoon World keeping all eyes on Frontier Games, they've likely levied that level of satisfaction to score the licence for a new game.
Also behind the questionable development status of Elite: Dangerous, Frontier Developments have nabbed the rights to make a game based on an "enduring movie franchise of global renown."
Offering nothing more than that, it isn't clear exactly which Hollywood movie franchise the group could be taking about in their new announcement. The press release reportedly surfaced through the London Stock Exchange website with more details to follow later in the year.

Speaking through said press release, David Braden - chief executive of Frontier Developments - said: "The third franchise is an important next step in our growth. We have chosen to license this particular IP to work with as our third franchise, because we believe we can create something very special. It is creatively stimulating, already has a high worldwide profile, and is a perfect match for our expertise."
Since the announcement, the development studio has managed to add 3.2% to the value of their shares in the process. Care to take a guess as to what it could be?
