Destiny 2 has finally released around the world, and guardians are scrambling all over looking for the best loot. Besides from grinding and shooting, there are hidden loot chests all over the game that reward you with items ranging from exchangeable tokens to rare armor. Some are special as they reward you with multiple items, and these are marked by being gold and glowing with possibilities.
Each of these special golden crates are pretty simple to find and doesn’t require much digging at all as they literally appear on your map. Bungie did us a solid on this one by conveniently showing the general location they will be in. The picture below shows where the icons are located on your map.

Finding these crates are pretty simple, as the map’s icons don’t lead you directly to the chest locations. Just like in Destiny 1, listen for a glimmering sound, as all secret chests give off the sound. All crates in the EDZ are easy to get to and don’t take any longer than 20 seconds to find. However, on later planets like Titan where there are multiple floors and layers, having a map only does so much help.
