We're streaming Observer at 21:00 UK time/ 13:00 PT / 16:00 ET! [UPDATE: DONE!]

Join us later today for a stream of Observer, the new cyberpunk horror game from the creators of P.T.-alike Layers of Fear! It's not out until August 15, but we'll be streaming the beginning of the game starting 21:00 BST/ 13:00 PT / 16:00 ET! Expect jump scares a plenty, and we'll certainly try not to scream in terror. We'll be using the webcam today so you'll be able to see our full humiliating reactions.

Since the release of Konami's groundbreaking P.T. demo, lots of developers tried to recreate the tense, clever, first-person scares of that experience as a full game, but all of them (including Konami) failed... except for Bloober Team with Layers of Fear, one of the scariest, unsettling, disturbing and downright clever experiences ever made. It messed with your expectations time and time again, had a lot of imagination put into it, and even threw in a few cool puzzles to boot. We're hoping Observer will see Bloober Team refine the experience and create something even more polished.

This time they're going cyberpunk. You (meaning me) are Dan Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an Observer, and part of a corporate-funded police unit whose purpose is to hack and invade suspects’ minds. In this future, anything you think, feel, or remember can be used against you in a court of law. Neat. You (meaning me) will be able to go into a suspect's mind, like in Psychonauts but probably more nightmarish. And worse, you (meaning me) could himself (myself) be hacked. Sounds cool, and creepy.
