Closing in on the last few months before relase, NAMCO BANDAI have put out a fairly lengthy look at the gameplay of Little Nightmares.
Having worked on DLC segments of the first two LittleBigPlanet games, Tarsier Studios eventually went on to head development of the series' third and portable entries before moving onto Tearaway.
Clearly having grown accustomed to making tiny games in big environments, they're leading the development of Little Nightmares - a game about controlling a small girl through a dark world clearly not designed for a person of her stature. With previous trailers having shown us a segmented look at her movements through the grotesque crawl spaces and gigantic kitchens, it's time for a real gameplay blowout with far less cuts.
Little Nightmares Arrives April 28 With A Very Special 'Six' Edition
The gameplay video down below is a good 7 minutes of relatively undoctored footage only cutting out to presumably deviant away from large breaks like travelling up an elevator. With such a simple operation being a feat of strength for a girl of her size, however, we get to witness how Six manages to make use of the objects around her to summon the mechanical mobility tool in question. She's going to have some pretty impressive muscles after all this pulling, throwing and climbing.
Little Monsters releases April 28 on PC through Steam. Pre-order bonuses are live, with a Collector's Edition coming with an appropriately scaled figure of our lead Heroine.
