Just like Jeff promised, the Overwatch</b> Summer Games are back! And we're starting to understand just why he said the new Mercy skin could be one of his favorites.
While all of last year's event skins make a reappearance during the month-long event, there are plenty of new goodies to go around. And with the recent Loot Box update making duplicates far less likely, it should be much easier to grow your collection this time around.
The fancy video up above should show you everything you could have ever wanted from this Summer's event skins, and there's no doubt you've already picked out a favorite. While 'maining' a character is always the appeal of a game like Overwatch, any serious player knows being able to play the full roster is the key to victory. And for that, you should want every skin available.

But that isn't all the Summer Games are good for. Just like last year, Lucioball makes a reappearance - with some very noticeable changes. Though some are confused by Blizzard's decision to turn the no-pressure mode into a competitive one this time around, ability changes mean there should be far less unsportsmanlike plays whether you're in ranked or quickplay. Play in ranked, however, and you'll have the chance of grabbing some more exclusive Sprays. Thankfully there are no skins locked to that.~
The Overwatch Summer Games event is already in full swing, but you have plenty of time to earn loot boxes and/or shell out some cash for them. Expect it all to play out until August 28.
