Rounding off a number of months of continued support, Sniper Elite 4 finished off its 3-part 'Deathstorm' mini-campaign by throwing seasoned sharpshooters back into Germany.
Scheduled to release on July 18, Deathstorm Part 3: Obliteration isn't the only slice of the content pie coming with next week's update.
Through the valiant efforts of the player's many-month mission, the source of the Deathstorm research project has been traced back to Germany. Rumored to be shrouded by the earth above it, an underground complex sits beneath the quiet town of Steigherloch, Bravania. Noticing increased activity, Karl Fairburne's final mission is to end the Deathstorm initiative once and for all.

While the paid campaign will grant players access to an additional Axis character for multiplayer use, it's the free additions that will likely be of interest to the more casual Sniper Elite 4 player. Elite Ranks have their cap pushed from 50 to 250 while two new campaign-inspired maps arrive in the form of 'Facility' and 'Bunker' - it's starting to sound like Goldeneye. Additional reticules and a brand-new 'Authentic Plus' difficulty mode arrive, too.
And, much like prior updates, three new weapons will arrive on the same day. It's a summer of sniping fun!
