Issue #3 'Looming Shadow' is now here, and you can read it in full just below! It sets up the events of Sonic Forces' Episode Shadow, and features Omega, the ex-Eggman robot and member of Team Shadow comprising of him, Shadow, and Rouge the Bat, who also both feature. Sonic Forces is due out November 7 and after playing it we're very excited at the prospect. But who is this Player Avatar character and how do they fit in to Sonic's world? SEGA are releasing a set of four digital comics acting as a prequel to Sonic Forces, and we've got the first comic for you to download for free below!

Full Guide To Sonic Mania on PC!
You can download Sonic Forces: Moment of Truth right here or check them out separately right below! It tells the story of the player Avatar character, who of course will be customizable in Sonic Forces itself, as they pull together their courage and try to get it together quick enough to save the day and beat Eggman's forces. Sonic and most of the more recognisable franchise characters don't feature, instead we get Team Chaotix of Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon and Charmy Bee, making their first appearance back in a Sonic series since Sonic Heroes in 2003.
The series is written by regular Sonic comics writer Ian Flynn, who's been chief writer on the Archie Sonic The Hedgehog comics since issue 160 all the way to 290, and will continue as the comics move to IDW. If you read it for no other reason, do it for the moment where the Avatar sets fire to Charmy Bee's arse, something we've all wanted to do since playing Sonic Heroes.
'Moment of Truth' is the first of a four-part digital comics series that serves as a prequel to Sonic Forces, due November 7. The second part will be out later this month, and maybe that will actually feature Sonic! You never know.
In the meantime, download and enjoy Sonic Forces: Moment of Truth or check it out below. Thanks to SEGA for making it available.
