Console players would like to know Dreadnought is out of beta on the PS4, and that the PC is expected to follow next year.
Besides monitoring and maintaining the balance of the game -- an ongoing task on multiplayer shooters -- the devs are hard at work on the first post-launch update for PS4, set to release in January. PC version 1.10 is slated for release this week, and will bring balance changes and alter how players unlock new ships in-game. Instead of following a prescribed path in the tech tree to unlock a ship, the new method requires players to simply pick enough modules to progress to the next tier.

The 1.10 PC patch also updates a few Hero Ships, changing the loadouts for the Zaratan and the Trident. Players who bought either prior to the change will soon have two versions in their hangars (one with the new loadout, and another labelled “Vintage” with the previous one). New buyers will obviously only get the new version.
Dreadnought also has Twitch Drops now, for those who link their Twitch account with a Grey Box one in Account Settings and watch any Twitch livestream playing Dreadnought. Twitch Drops feature exclusive cosmetics, in-game Credits, and the Hanuman Hero Ship, all obtainable by simply watching someone play the game.
In less technical news, the Havoc Charity Challenge, an in-game event that pitted three teams of streamers against one another, has concluded, with the winner team Jutland Juggernauts getting a $10,000 donation to the Save The Children charity. The next event Havocalypse is already live, and concludes on December 24th, Christmas Eve.
Be advised: There are a few kinks with the new updates, namely Twitch Drops not showing an in-game notification when you get a reward and a few PS4 crashes. A hotfix was issued on Saturday, but the devs have their eyes open. Let them know your thoughts.
