28 days ago we reported that Llexi Leon - the guy behind a certain Iron Maiden mobile game - had another title in the works. That title was Phantom Halls and it lands on Steam's 'Early Access' program today.
Kicking things off with a steep discount from the price of the finished product, all early backers of the title will be able to access as series of quests centered around the spooky classic Evil Dead 2 complete with Ash Williams as a playable character still toting his famous chainsaw and shooty weapon.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Evil Dead 2 on this very day, the content is, of course, officially licensed for the big day. There's no mention as to how long the content will be available, but it should last for the entirety of the Early Access period at least. Originally slated to be priced at £5.99, the already dirt-cheap asking amount is 13% lower during the game's first week - likely to entice to early interest alongside the spotlight shined upon the tie-in movie's anniversary.

Speaking through the announcing press release, Incendium said "Early Access is a fantastic testing bed for the core game to determine what features are most desired and what people want to see next - Phantom Halls will be fully supported and iterated upon in the months ahead as we work towards a full retail build and re-imagine more classic horror icons through the game's quirky satirical lens."
They're billing Phantom halls as "...real-time Worms with the procedurally generated chaos of Spelunky", but each individual is likely to come to their own conclusion as to how to compare the game with their own past experiences.
