PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Week 31 Update
At this point it would bee far easier if they just called these things 'update 1' and 'update 2'. The week thing isn't really helping. As for 'week 31', things haven't changed much at all. The blue zone damage over time skyrocketing after the last patch has been fixed, and there's a little fix for bullets that ignored armor. That's it. Vault early next month, though!
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Week 28 Update
A fairly minor one when it comes to specifics, this one further lays the groundwork for the upcoming climbing and vaulting feature. The team are hard at work on getting PUBG ready for its year-end 1.0 release, and you can read more about their efforts here.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Week 27 Update
It looks like we're well a truly back to the same weekly update schedule as we started with. There's not much to write home about here, but spectators may appreciate the subtle changes. Other than that, we're looking at minor bug fixes and one or two quality of life changes.
Changelog
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Week 26 Update
Already looking to turn their back on more spread out update schedules, PlayUnknown's Battlegrounds seemed to revert to its old weekly update timing 7 days after its big September patch. Of course, there isn't much here. Mostly just bug fixes for what came before. But if you've run into any of these bugs, it's good news for you.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - September Update
The first update to hit since the PUBG team committed to longer update schedules, you're likely expecting this one to be a big deal. And it is! Optimization is of the highest priority for players right now, and they're getting it.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 20
Hardly known for its brilliant optimization, the Week 20 update kicks things off with increased support for CPUs lugging 6 or more cores. If you've shelled out for a hex or octacore CPU, let us know if you notice any worthwhile upgrades. We'll be doing the same considering we're having to play on low with an RX 480 to maintain 60fps on an 8-core CPU. That's a little sad.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Month 4
First-person servers hit both the US and EU datacentres today, with FOV sliders, remappable controls for thrown projectiles and a colourblind mode for good measure. There's a lot more buried deep inside, so let's take a look;
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 16
More UI performance improvements arrive with one of my notable buf fixes relating to those dedicated enough to be playing this on a 4:3 aspect ratio. Still rocking that CRT for CS 1.6? We'd like a chat.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 15
There isn't too much to see here unless a new Southeast Asia server interests you. More UI performance improvements are mentioned, with the rest specifically targeting bug-squashing.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Month 3
Following on from the item respawn balance pass, we've arrived at the Month 3 update. Usually a far bigger patch than its weekly variants, this one follows the trend.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 13
Performance boosts and bug fixes across the board here, with just one server-focused pass. If you ever had yourself or the camera get stuck in terrain, hopefully you'll be free to use your legs without fear of being killed by the Earth itself, too.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 11
Are we back to weekly updates? We'll soon see! Matches now end 1 minute after the timer announcement while a few performance tweaks should improve physics, lobby and the 'care package'. Other than that - a few bug fixes!
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 10
Nothing but bug fixes here, folks. That and some vehicle tweaks, anyway. Vehicluar accidents probably aren't anywhere near as fun now - but they should have a diminished chance of causing a real one. A real virtual one, we mean.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Month 2
We can't really make heads or tails of these patch timings. Some might say every 4 weeks is enough for a 'month' update, whereas we seem to be looking at the 'Month 2' update as a seperate entity to that of the 'Week 8' update. Regardless, an update is an update. Originally said to be delayed, it popped up anyway. It's time to see why.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 8
Yes, it's a straight jump to week 8. We've been void of game updates for a little while now, but the developers vow to get back on track with the usual weekly updates. Why this isn't the 'Second Month' update is beyond us right now, but it's changing things up regardless.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 5
We've now officially in the second live month of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. It's type set in all caps, and still considered the Hunger Games of the PC community. Welcome to the fray, folks. That's see what's different this time around.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 4
The first of the game's monthly updates comes thick and fast today with a long explanation as to why players may not see every issue fixed within a single update. You can read more of that lengthy reasoning here while we get on down to the 'nitty-gritty' of what Patch 4 entails.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 3
Adding thunder sounds, a couple of bug fixes and closing off cunning player's ability to hide trees and other obstacles through the .ini file, Update 3 is both big and small in a number of ways.
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 2
Mostly just performance boosts in the end considering Update 3 was the one to really implement some of the sound changes listed below, mid-distance loadings have been improved alongside some general server performance boosts..
Changelog:
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Early Access Week 1
Welcome to the first week of patch notes! Developers 'Bluehole, Inc' have outlined their general stance on updates with this one. Each week will see minor bug fixes and tweaks while each month should see new content. Each day, however, will be even smaller roll-outs to boost server performance across the board. For now, it's bug fixes!
