Konami’s revealed at E3 2017 that its multiplayer zombie-like survival spinoff Metal Gear Survive has been delayed from its 2017 release date. The game, which is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, will now be released in early 2018.
The reason Metal Gear Survive has been “pushed back a few months” is because the developers need more time to polish the game.

Metal Gear Survive is the first Metal Gear Solid to be released without Kojima, as he confirmed at the last Tokyo Game Show that it has “…nothing to do with me.”
Metal Gear Survive is said to take place in an alternate timeline after Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, where players must embark on a mysterious adventure and use stealth, weapons and gear to fight a zombie-like plague when it launches in early 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
