Any Stellaris player knows how annoying it is to replenish your ships after a battle (and you *always* need to replenish them). In order to make that task a little easier, the upcoming 2.0 Cherryh update will add a Fleet Manager mechanic.
The new feature will let players set fleet templates complete with ship type, class, and quantity, allowing you to determine the fleet's composition and change it on the fly with a minimal of hassle. Furthermore, it will also allow you to quickly and easily replenish any losses suffered with one click, by automatically distributing build orders to all relevant shipyards and setting a dynamic rally point.

You will also be able to edit, create, and even copy fleet templates, and even edit ship's loadouts directly from the Fleet Manager before they are built. For those times were a ship loses its relevance, a new Retrofit option is also being added, allowing you to painlessly convert ships from one type to another and hopefully solving that age old management problem of using different ship types from the same category.
