There's a new hero coming to SMITE, and it's probably not who you think it is. Set those expectations down low and embrace the meme yet again - it's time for King of the Kappa.
Whether it's lost all meaning in recently months or not, a creature based on upon the Kappa has emerged to fight as a god within the SMITE arenas.
Used over 1,000,000 times a day might still be a viable feat for the new contender much like the emote of Josh DeSeno long plaguing the chatboard of Twitch livestreams everywhere. But rather than being a monster based upon said classic meme, this one it tied a little more to the Japanese tall tale of the yokai or imp of the same name. Again, not Josh DeSeno.
Patch 4.1 Brought Doge To SMITE Alongside Season 4 Playoffs
Known fully as Kuzenbo - King of the Kappa, this terrifying legend meets Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle can manage anything from accumulating stacks of armor when hit through his Water Bowl passive to bouncing NeNe Kappa off walls in the hopes of hitting his target with the nibbling fiends. Seemingly more akin to a disruption tank more than a damage dealer, Kuzenbo's Shell Spikes can reflect a portion of enemy attack damage while using Sumo Slam and Watery Grave to push his oppenents and travel without limits.
Not being the only new addition in the recent update, Fafnir, Nox, Ah Muzen Cab, Jing Wei, The Morrigan and Xbalanque have all recieved new skins. <A href="https://www.smitegame.com/new-in-smite-king-of-the-kapp-4-2-pts-patch-notes/>"Kappa</a>.
