Despite its somewhat rocky launch, Respawn Entertainment is content with how Titanfall 2 is progressing as it ages and matures.
Throwing up a blog post to reflect on the time since release and to dish out a little more detail as to what to expect in the future, we're told to expect March DLC details in around a week's time on March 23. So we'll expect a release soon after.
Following that, the team will supply the bigger picture in April by touching upon how they plan to support Titanfall 2 in the coming months. With new players joining week on week, the team is committed to putting out exrta cosmetic items, too; Prime Titans included. Of course, free content drops are the focus, but we'll have to wait a little long to know what those are.
Titanfall 2's 'Live Fire' Update Finally Gets A Release Date Alongside Some Titan Balancing
With Nexon still working on their F2P version of the original Titanfall for th Korean market, the blog post mentions that their mobile tie-ins are still going forward - but those are for the future. The Respawn Entertainment crew is currently split into two divisions - the ones seeing to Titanfall's future and Stig Asmussen's Star Wars group.
Ultimately, the Titanfall group is hard at work on new content, experiments and tests to keep Titanfall's future alive and ticking. They'll be handling Q&A sessions and developer blogs going forward to better handle the lack of communication.
