After yesterday’s announcement of Batman: The Telltale Series Season 2 - The Enemy Within, Telltale have shared more details on the game which launches August 8th. The first and most important piece of information is that if you have a save file from Season 1 your decisions will carry over to Season 2. This was hoped for as this is how Telltale have handled things with The Walking Dead, but as Telltale haven’t actually made many second seasons of their games it was not guaranteed so it’s nice to have it confirmed.

Telltale also revealed a few story details about the first episode, which will be titled ‘The Enigma’, presumably referring to The Riddler’s real name of Edward Nygma. The synopsis reads:
“The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?”
They are also promising “trickier puzzles, tougher combat, and plenty of opportunities to make this Batman your own”.
