Surprisingly absolutely no one, Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six: Siege will get a Year 3.
Named Operation Chimera and Operation Outbreak, the next 12 months will bring eight new operators, two new maps, and the first ever co-op event structured around four seasons.

As usual, the new operators will be agents of some of the world’s best Counter-Terrorism Units, and the new maps are set in Italy and Morocco (strongly hinting that the GIS will be one of the new factions). Additionally, one undisclosed existing map will receive a complete revamp in level design and art direction.
Most surprisingly, a new co-op event named Outbreak is coming to Siege and will make use of Year 3's two new specialists in biohazard situations. Only available for four weeks, the event is the first of its kind for Ubisoft's shooter and will reward an exclusive collection of cosmetics.
The full reveal of Operation Chimera and Outbreak will take place at the Six Invitational 2018 in Montreal at the end of February. We'll update you as more news come along.
