With the release of The Atom and the latest patch for Injustice 2 on PC, the PC version is now up-to-date and equal with the console version of the game - with the exception of the Justice League movie event. Now later today PC owners at last can play the Justice League Multiverse to win Gear Pieces and create the movie costumes.

Our review of Injustice 2 On PC!
The Justice League Multiverse event was announced on Twitter, as seen below. It will appear on the Injustice 2 Multiverse later today and will add Character-Specific events based around Justice League the movie. The events will be made up of multiple stages, and as you complete them you unlock Gear to build a complete movie costume for Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Cyborg and Superman will also have Justice League events, but for some reason Netherrealm only decided to make a single piece of movie Gear for each of those characters, which is still a little disappointing.

If it's anything like the console event, the Multiverse battles will probably run for a full week. The first few stages of each Multiverse can be undertaken by characters of any level, but the final Boss Battle for the last piece of Gear will probably require a Level 20 character - so get grinding.
With this event, Injustice 2 on PC is 100% up-to-date and on-par with the console version of the game, despite the six month gap between the two. Hopefully this means that future Multiverse events, maybe to unlock costumes based on the various DC TV shows like The Flash, Supergirl and Arrow, will appear on PC too - to say nothing of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
