Seemingly reaffirmed that people do indeed like what they put out, FunCom has reportedly decide to breath new life into their unique, ageing MMO The Secret World.
The news comes straight from their fourth quarter investors report that seems to have surfaced much later than some of the other big-name publishers like Activision, EA and Paradox.
Within the report it's stated that the game will soon receive its first content update of the last 12 months following the release of The Call of the Nameless that appeared in March 2016. Funcom's non-typical MMO has players roaming real-life locations like London and Tokyo to unravel H.P Lovecraft-style mysteries, mythos and conspiracy plots.

The company is looking to effectively 'relaunch' the project by rebuilding its new player experience, overhauling major features and removing the pay barrier than halts players from experiencing what long-time players have typically referred to as one of the most well-written MMOs in an age.
The relaunch is expected to begin in late March. The report also mentions how Conan Exiles is about to reach its initial 12-month sales goal in its first month on sale while the group's other MMO projects - Anarchy Online and Age of Conan are going into 'maintenance mode' - meaning players shouldn't be expecting any new content for those games going forward.
