Greetings! This afternoon at 14:00 BST, GameWatcher’s very own Christian Vaz and Emma Matthews will be streaming Team17’s sci-fi city builder – Aven Colony. If you haven’t heard of Aven Colony before now, allow us to fill you in. Mothership Entertainment (the developers of Aven Colony) is a melting pot of long-time industry veterans. Ever heard of such games as Metroid Prime 2? What about Star Wars: The Old Republic? Surely you’ve heard of Fable 2? That’s right, Mothership Entertainment is made up of plenty of experienced developers.
So, what about the game, we hear you ask? We were just getting to that! Christian and Emma will be discovering the mysterious world of Aven Prime, an alien planet filled with various terrain including wetlands, tundras and even deserts. Light years from Earth, players will build their own colonies into incredible cities, but it won’t be as easy as you might think. Settling a new world is no easy task, let alone on a planet like Aven Prime!
