The latest update to Diablo-style action RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is out now, and amongst the fixes is the first chapter of the single-player campaign and a brand new character class: the Primaris Psyker Inquisitor.
Here's where Total War: Warhammer 3 will be set and what races we can expect!</b>
You can watch the introduction to the campaign here. While the game itself has been available on Early Access for a few months, it only had a few simple missions available to try. This marks developer NeoCore's first steps into a full proper single-player campaign. It's only the introduction, a tutorial and a simple mission so far, but there's a lot more to come.
Meanwhile, here's what NeoCore says about the new Inquisitor class:
"The Primaris Psyker Inquisitor requires a very different gameplay style compared to the Crusader and Assassin Inquisitors. Psyker Inquisitors are incredibly powerful, but they must be careful with using their powers, because it may very well turn against them. They channel devastating otherworldly energies, but they always risk damnation doing so."
Excellent.
You can check out the full Patch Notes and class description here. Alternatively you can check out this rather embarrassing video of us trying to play the game and rather sucking if that's to your enjoyment. We certainly enjoyed our time with Martyr, and once the campaign has been bulked out we will certainly be tucking back into it.
