It's a momentous day. After four years of Early Access, one of top 5 survival games of all times is finally launching.
Today, Unknown Worlds announced submarine-survival open-world game Subnautica is finally shedding it's Early Access tag. In little under a week, the game will launch into 1.0 with a live event at Monterey Bay Aquarium, California on January 23rd, 6:15pm PST (that's January 24th, 2:15am GMT).

Unknown Worlds' underwater adventure Subnautica hits Steam Early Access
The event will streamed live, and will feature:
- Premiere of the Subnautica Cinematic Trailer
- Premiere of the Subnautica Gameplay Trailer
- The pushing of the Big Red Launch Button
- Interviews with the development team
- Real live sea creatures
The official website has been updated with a launch page, including an extremely handy time zone converter that should be standard in every single live event announcement ever (do you hear me, internet?). Subnautica launches on January 23rd, 2018. You can already buy it on Early Access on Steam for slightly less than full retail price.
