The latest expansion for Star Trek Online, the now 8-years-old MMO, will be a celebration of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine TV show on it's 25th Anniversary.
Players will journey to the Gamma Quadrant to discover the final resting place of the Deep Space Nine station, with many of the show's cast reprising their roles in the MMO's fourth expansion - 'Victory Is Life'.

The returning cast list from the Deep Space Nine series for the Victory Is Life expansion include Ferengi Entrepreneur Quark (Armin Shimerman), Changeling Chief of Security Odo (René Auberjonois), Commanding Starfleet Officer Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor), Klingon General Martok (J.G. Hertzler), and "six other actors that will be revealed soon" - which presumably means they're saving Avery Brooks as Benjamin Sisko for a later press release. The expansion will also make the Jem'Hadar playable for the first time.
Stephen Ricossa, executive producer for Star Trek Online, had this to say about the expansion:
"We couldn’t think of a better way of celebrating Deep Space Nine, than resurrecting the characters so many fans adored and reuniting this special cast in Star Trek Online. Our new expansion pays tribute to the television series that boldly explored important social issues and left a lasting impact on an entire generation of Star Trek fans."
