The Escapists 2 free holiday update is ready for download right now and is released as a completely free addition to an already massive game. It comes out as a sort of a follow-up to last year's Santa's Shakedown DLC, and sees Santa becoming decidedly less interested in goodwill and all that.
The North Pole now plays host to concrete cells for indentured elves and massive warehouses with shipping lanes so that Santa can keep earning money via his newly-opened online store. Yikes!
The Escapists 2: Snow Way Out introduces a whole new prison to plot escape from, four new jobs (burning letters, engineering, feeding the reindeer, and robot servicing), new items and weapons, such as the aptly-named Candy Pain, and numerous ways for players to ditch it all to hell!
