It is a testament to a game's quality and value when it garners more attention as a paid retail experience than the vast majority of popular F2P titles, which can't come even close to that number. That said, Psyonix aren't twiddling their thumbs! Competitive Season 9 is coming.
The Season 9 Update is coming to all platforms on 24th of September, and will bring with it a number of so-called Ranked Extra Modes, and will include fan favourites such as: Dropshot, Hoops, Rumble, and Snow Day, which will no longer be billed as 'casual'.
Alonside the update, players can also expect an abundance of new rewards, a completely new in-game soundtrack EP, a new Hot Wheels DLC as per the franchise's 50th anniversary, a number of fixes and quality-of-life improvements, and more!
