Satisfactory, Coffee Stain Studios’ open-world factory builder, is set to be arriving on Steam Early Access in the near future. This announcement comes along with a raft of new additions as part of its third update for the game, presently available on the Epic Games Store. No precise date has yet been given for its release.
Satisfactory is billed as an open world factory-building and management game. Up to four players are tasked to work together to build and develop a factory upon an alien planet. It has often been compared to Wube Software’s Factorio.
Satisfactory Update 3
Update 3’s main event is the addition of pipes to the game. This allows in turn the addition of a variety of fluids and other types of materials to the player’s toolkit beyond the game’s standard set of conveyor belts. Other additions include a new starting location in a desert biome, as well as a variety of fixes and rebalances. The complete patch notes may be found on the Satisfactory website.
Satisfactory’s Update 3 is already available for those who own the game through the Epic Games Store. Although the game presently has a page on Steam, no precise date for its release into Early Access has yet been given, only that it is due “soon”.
