Ubisoft has launched the open beta playtest for Skull and Bones, an action-packed cooperative pirate-themed open-world RPG. You may be curious about the number of players you can ally with on a single ship, as well as the total number of players that can join the server where your group is active.
The open playtest will run from the 8th Feb until 11th Feb, and each group will be able to take command of a ship to plunder as a pirate in the open seas of the Indian Ocean. Think more of Sea of Thieves than Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
How many players can you have in Skull and Bones per ship?
Skull and Bones is a three-player co-op game. Players form groups of three, permitting only three individuals to command a single ship, while a server can accommodate up to 20 players at any given time. There isn’t a campaign to go through, but you will find missions and seasonal content for your crew to enjoy. Plunder to your heart’s content.
Skull and Bones supports full cross-platform play and cross-progression, allowing you to play with friends on any platform seamlessly. It’s available on PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. It’s not on Steam at the moment.
Ubisoft is planning a total of four different seasons for 2024, with new battles, seasonal events, legendary sea monsters to face up against, and more.
