Plague Inc: Evolved developer Ndemic Creations has announced that its next game, After Inc: Revival, is now headed to PC and slated to enter Steam Early Access at some point in 2025.
Described as “a unique blend of strategic simulation, survival city builder and ‘mini 4X’,” the title is set decades after the Necroa Virus made short work of humanity, focusing on the remaining survivors and their attempts at rebuilding.

In order to survive After Inc: Revival’s take on a post-apocalyptic United Kingdom, we’ll need to explore our surroundings, discover and harvest resources, while building a settlement for our people.
We’ll get to expand our home base with a plethora of buildings, including houses, farms, and lumberyards, before creating more settlements, all while shaping our society.
After Inc: Revival’s ten playable leaders come with different abilities that are bound to come in handy as we rebuild. The title may go for a more colorful aesthetic but its world is far from devoid of danger, as zombie infestations threaten survivors.
Although the game “has a feature complete initial campaign”, its developer opted for a Steam Early Access release because it is “actively developing additional content as well.”
Its initial version promises 12+ hours of content while Ndemic Creations expects to spend “around a year” in early access, although remains open to extending the stay if needed.
