Albion Online patch notes are generally divided into hotfixes and content updates. Hotfixes can cover anywhere from things not appearing in the world map to general bug fixes. On the other hand, the more major updates add more in-depth features, often including new resources and certain balance changes to weapons.
As far as gameplay goes, the Wild Blood update has been a blast, with the Shapeshifter Weapons and Awakened Items being introduced, as well as new potions that players can utilize to maximize their stats. Wild Blood Patch 2 - Ver. 23.020.1
Released on November 27, 2023, Wild Blood Patch 2 includes season winner statues to honor winners from the last season, which players can check out in the Conqueror’s Hall. Other major changes include awakened items and scaling changes to Hellgates and Corrupted Dungeons, controller and mobile changes. When it comes to weapons, axes, bows, cursed staffs, daggers, and frost staffs received buffs, while shapeshifter staffs received some balance changes.
Wild Blood Hotfix 1.1
Wild Blood Hotfix 1.1 went live on November 7, 2023. This patch addressed the issue of the Traditional Chinese text not displaying in-game.
Wild Blood Patch 1
Wild Blood Patch 1 dropped on November 6, 2023. It covers Tracking changes, allowing Tracking loot to be protected from the Tracking party as well as enabling Tracking targets to drop rare ingredients. In addition, food and potions or any consumables can be equipped without triggering spell cooldowns. As for combat, frost staffs, quarterstaffs, shapeshifters, helmets, armors, and shoes all received balanced changes.
Wild Blood Hotfix #3
Wild Blood Hotfix #3 was introduced to the game on October 23, 2023. In this patch, Tracking received some adjustments for all large group hunts. Outside of that, the range of Reality Fissure for all shapeshifter staffs have been reduced from 18m to 16m. Fixes to HUD, Hideout chest logs, Android devices and more are also present.
Wild Blood Hotfix #2
Wild Blood Hotfix #2 was added on October 17, 2023, covering several gameplay fixes on mobs, marketplace, and VFX issues. Major changes include the “City Heart” transport quest now leading to the correct zones, and fixes to quick sell, tax, and untranslated UI on the marketplace. Power Vortices and Power Cores not appearing on the map and wrong root VFX for Barbed Roots have also been fixed.
