Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Cold Iron Studios have revealed Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Year 1 Roadmap, outlining the free content updates coming to the co-op shooter over the coming months. With Season 1 underway, players have three other seasons to look forward to, which will introduce new game modes, weapons, a new class and more.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Year 1 Roadmap free seasons will be accompanied by premium Endeavor Pass DLC that will include “an assortment of outfits, head accessories, weapon decals, weapon colors, emotes, and more.” These will also be purchasable individually for $9.99 or your regional equivalent.

“Our focus is first on bringing quality of life improvements to the game that will add more enjoyment to the game’s existing content. These new features shouldn’t drastically alter the way the game is currently played, but we hope you will greatly enjoy them all the same,” the developer wrote in the post announcing the co-op shooter’s upcoming updates.
Here’s what you can expect from Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Year 1 Roadmap:

Players can still expect “quality of life updates and necessary changes” in between these bigger seasonal updates. This is welcome news, as the game’s playerbase has dwindled since launch. Having others to play with is pretty vital for a co-op game and, hopefully, the free content introduced with each season will be enough to draw people back to hunting xenomorphs.
In our review we praised Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s weapons and gunplay while noting that its special enemies weren’t all that great. The game is available now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
