Although city building is a major part of Anno 1800, the title routinely tasks you with a variety of quests that serve as neat little breaks from the usual business. The Anno 1800 Blackbeard quest is one of the many quests you’ll receive from NPCs, requiring you to ensure that your Zoo houses the bear named after the famous pirate.
Here’s how to complete the Anno 1800 Blackbeard quest.
Anno 1800 Blackbeard Quest
<p>
Prior to reaching the point in the Anno 1800 Blackbeard quest where you’ll have to deal with building a zoo, you’ll have to get your hands on Blackbeard the bear. When the objective appears, click the button that lets you jump to the objective location. You might be inclined to look for a furry four-legged friend, however, what you need to click is actually a stack of boxes on the screen.
Once you’ve obtained Blackbeard, the Anno 1800 Blackbeard quest tasks you with building a Zoo. You’ll need to have reached the third population tier, Artisans, and have 30 wooden planks, 30 bricks, 10 steel beams, 5 windows and 10000 coins ready.
Building the Zoo isn’t the end, though. You’ll also need to build enclosures for animals. Select the Zoo, click on the round button in the lower right corner and place the enclosure wherever you have space. It’s best to avoid crowded areas, especially if you intend to have a larger Zoo, as enclosures can take up a healthy amount of space. After laying down an enclosure, click it, click the plus button and select Blackbeard.
There’s a chance that even after going through these steps you’ll have trouble completing the Anno 1800 Blackbeard quest. If that happens, saving and reloading the game should solve the issue.
