Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have announced that Apex Legends is preparing for its The Old Ways lore event, scheduled to launch next week.
The Old Ways lore event will be accompanied by the addition of duos as well as a permanent map rotation that lets players battle it out on either Kings Canyon and Worlds Edge in both Duos and Trios mode.
Apex Legends Duos and The Old Ways Lore Event
Apex Legends’ The Old Ways lore event also adds to the mix a new Town Takeover led by Bloodhound. In the northwest portion of World’s Edge, players will be able to battle dangerous beasts and obtain high-tier loot as long as other Legends don’t manage to foil their plans.
The Old Ways event also comes with its own prize track featuring cosmetic items inspired by its dedicated 10-minute digital short which you can check out below.
As with previous prize tracks, players will be able to earn 1000 points per daily challenge set.

Apex Legends’ The Old Ways Lore event also marks the return of all 8 of the original Legendary Hunt Skins alongside 2 recolored variants of the Wraith and R-301 skins previously only available for Battle Pass owners.
