Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment have released a new gameplay trailer highlighting some of the cool additions that Apex Legends players can expect when Season 10: Emergence launches early next month.
Season 10 will see New Legend Seer joining the Apex games. Donning a stylish hat, he brings to the mix sensors and drones that allow him to “hunt with surgical precision.”
Contrasting Seer’s drones is the new weapon that’s being added in Apex Legends’ Season 10. The Rampage LMG is perfect for those situations that demand when serious firepower and, when you need to turn things up to eleven, a charge of Thermite Grenades can increase its fire rate.
Hammond Robotics continues its devastation of World’s Edge, which will be reflected in the battle royale’s latest map update. Players hopping into Emergence when it releases this August will be met with “a rebirth and overhaul of the map” that “changes to some of the map’s most popular POIs.”
The Refinery, for example, has been replaced with The Climatzier that’s linked to a new point of interest, by moving gondolas. You can read more about the new World’s Edge in this deep dive.
Emergence also brings with it three new maps – Hillside, Dome, and Oasis – for Apex Legends’ Arenas mode, expanding its rotation. As is tradition, there will also be a new Battle Pass with new skins and various other rewards.
Apex Legends’ Season 10: Emergence has locked down its release date to August 3 and is set to arrive to PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Check out its gameplay trailer below.
