Fields of Elysium, the first episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Fate of Atlantis DLC, is free to download and keep for the week across all platforms, Ubisoft announced today.
With Fields of Elysium now free, players can explore the Greek equivalent of heaven, ruled by the goddess Persephone. The Fate of Atlantis DLC as a whole steps up its mythological game, going as far as Atlantis itself in the later episodes.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Fields of Elysium DLC Free
Not only does Assassin’s Creed Odyssey delve deeper into Greek mythology in its latest post-launch DLC, it also further explores the Isu, known as the First Civilization. In Assassin’s Creed lore, the Isu created humankind, who ended up rebelling against them.
While Fields of Elysium is free to download for all owners of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll need to be at least level 28 and have completed the Between Two Worlds and Heir of Memories questlines in order to access the DLC. There is, however, a shortcut option that involves jumping in with a pre-leveled character.
Any progress in Fields of Elysium will remain on your account, meaning that if you decide to buy the remaining episodes or the Season Pass at a later date, you can continue from where you left off. The DLC is free until September 1 on PC (via Uplay, Steam or the Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PS4.
